This is a Company's Coming recipe and one I have been making since 1989...yes, I marked the recipe and gave it 5 stars. It is delicious and we love it. I am making tonight for dinner so thought I'd post...will take a pic and post it later.

Ingredients

  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 cup milk or water
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • SAUCE
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

How To Make sauce baked meatballs

  • Step 1
    Beat egg with spoon in a large bowl. Add the next ingredients. Mix thoroughly and shape into meatballs. Place in a large baking dish or sided baking sheet large enough for a single layer.A roasting pan works good too.
  • Step 2
    Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs. Bake covered in 350 oven for 1 hour. Serve over steamed rice with a nice green salad.
