Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 - medium onion finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 - large eggs
  • 1 - slice white bread, torn into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 - . freshly ground black pepper
  • GLAZE
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons . dijon mustard
  • 4 teaspoons packed light brown sugar

How To Make samantha’s homemade meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine all the meatloaf ingredients; mix well. Press mixture into a 9x5 inch pan. Bake for 30 minutes
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients. After 30 minutes of baking, brush some of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf. Bake for 30 minutes more. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Turn meatloaf out onto serving platter and spoon remaining glaze over top.
