Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1
    medium onion finely chopped
  • 3 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 2
    large eggs
  • 1
    slice white bread, torn into pieces
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4
    . freshly ground black pepper
  • GLAZE

  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    . dijon mustard
  • 4 tsp
    packed light brown sugar

How to Make Samantha’s Homemade Meatloaf

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine all the meatloaf ingredients; mix well. Press mixture into a 9x5 inch pan. Bake for 30 minutes
  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients. After 30 minutes of baking, brush some of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf. Bake for 30 minutes more. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Turn meatloaf out onto serving platter and spoon remaining glaze over top.
