I saw this recipe in Woman's World magazine. I took the base recipe and added to it to make it mine. My husband and I loved the flavor. Hope you like it as well.

Ingredients

  • ·
    1 lb. hamburger
  • ·
    1 lb. ground turkey
  • ·
    1/2 cup salsa, hotness your choice
  • ·
    1/2 cup shredded chedder cheese
  • ·
    chopped onions and peppers to your taste.
  • ·
    1 pkg. or 1 teaspoon taco seasoning

How to Make Salsa Burgers

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all ingredients together as you would for meatloaf.
  2. Form into patties.
  3. Fry in skillet until done.
  4. Top with shredded lettuce, cheese and diced tomatoes. Add sour cream, black olives, or your favorite taco toppings. Serve on hamburger buns. Yummy!
