Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground round
  • 2 pounds pork, ground
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • - "just a pinch" of pepper

How To Make salisbury steak with mushroom gravy

  • Step 1
    Combine meat, egg, bread crumbs, onion and seasoning. Shape into patties.
  • Step 2
    Preheat a skillet to 350 degrees. Place patties in skillet and brown on each side.
  • Step 3
    Mix mushroom soup, salt, pepper and milk together.
  • Step 4
    Pour over patties.
  • Step 5
    Lower heat to 250 degrees.
  • Step 6
    Cover and cook about 20 minutes or until done.
