cream of mushroom soup, condensed
1 Tbsp
prepared mustard
2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1 tsp
prepared horseradish
1/4 c
dry bread crumbs
1/4 c
onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp
1.5 lb
ground beef
2 Tbsp
1/2 c
2 Tbsp
fresh parsley, chopped
pepper to taste

How to Make Salisbury Steak Deluxe


  • 1In a bowl, combine the soup, mustard, worcestershire sauce and horseradish; blend well and set aside.
  • 2In another bowl, lightly beat the egg.
  • 3Add bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup of the soup mixture.
  • 4Add beef and mix well.
  • 5Shape into six patties.
  • 6In a large skillet, brown the patties in oil; drain.
  • 7Combine remaining soup mixture with water; pour over patties.
  • 8Cover and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes or until meat is done.
  • 9Remove patties to a serving platter; spoon sauce over meat and sprinkle with parsley.
