Ingredients

  • 10.75 ounces cream of mushroom soup, condensed
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • - pepper to taste

How To Make salisbury steak deluxe

  • Step 1
    In a bowl, combine the soup, mustard, worcestershire sauce and horseradish; blend well and set aside.
  • Step 2
    In another bowl, lightly beat the egg.
  • Step 3
    Add bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup of the soup mixture.
  • Step 4
    Add beef and mix well.
  • Step 5
    Shape into six patties.
  • Step 6
    In a large skillet, brown the patties in oil; drain.
  • Step 7
    Combine remaining soup mixture with water; pour over patties.
  • Step 8
    Cover and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes or until meat is done.
  • Step 9
    Remove patties to a serving platter; spoon sauce over meat and sprinkle with parsley.
