1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1 pkg
onion soup mix
5-6
shakes of worcestershire sauce
1
egg
1 c
breadcrumbs or finely crushed saltine crackers
1-=2 Tbsp
butter or oil
2 pkg
brown gravy mix, prepared according to instruction

How to Make Salisbury Steak

Step-by-Step

  • 1In large bowl, combine ground beef, soup mix, worcestershire sauce, egg and bread crumbs with clean hands.
  • 2In large skillet, heat small amount of oil or butter. Form beef mixture into 4 large patties (you could make smaller patties and have 6 if desirable). Place in skillet and cook over medium heat, turning once, until cooked through.
  • 3When done, place on plate and cover with prepared gravy.
