A delicious alternative to regular ol' hamburgers!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 5-6 - shakes of worcestershire sauce
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or finely crushed saltine crackers
  • 1-=2 tablespoon butter or oil
  • 2 packages brown gravy mix, prepared according to instruction

How To Make salisbury steak

  • Step 1
    In large bowl, combine ground beef, soup mix, worcestershire sauce, egg and bread crumbs with clean hands.
  • Step 2
    In large skillet, heat small amount of oil or butter. Form beef mixture into 4 large patties (you could make smaller patties and have 6 if desirable). Place in skillet and cook over medium heat, turning once, until cooked through.
  • Step 3
    When done, place on plate and cover with prepared gravy.
