    ground beef
  • 1/3 c
    dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 can(s)
    (10 oz.) golden mushroom soup
  • 1/3 c

How to Make Salisbury Steak


  1. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion and egg thoroughly. Shape firmly into 4 patties, 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Heat butter in skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook until brown. Pour off fat.
  3. Combine soup and water; pour over patties. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low.
  4. Cover and cook 10 minutes more.
