this meal is requested often in my house. I like to make mashed potatoes, brown gravy, and peas to go with it~

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion-chopped fine
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup italian style bread crumbs
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup-divided
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1/3 cup water

How To Make salisbury steak

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350'.
  • Step 2
    Combine half the can of cream of mushroom soup with all ingredients except water. Mix well {I use my hand to squish it all together}
  • Step 3
    Shape into patties. Place in a ungreased 9x13 dish.
  • Step 4
    Bake in oven for 30 minutes. Drain fat off.
  • Step 5
    Mix the 1/3 cup water with remaining cream of mushroom soup. Spoon over patties.
  • Step 6
    Place back in oven for 10 more minutes~
