salisbury steak
I can't remember exactly where I got this recipe because I've had it for 40 or so years. I think that it came from a Campbell's Soup cookbook.

How To Make salisbury steak
-
Step 1Mix remaining ingredients with remaining soup. Pour over patties in pan and cook on low heat about 20 minutes or until meat is cooked through.
-
Step 2Thoroughly mix 1/3 cup soup with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper; shape into 6 oval patties. Brown and drain.
-
Step 3Serve with cooked noodles or rice.
-
Step 4MY NOTE: I am not fond of the gravy that is made with this, so I generally will substitute it with a brown gravy mix and the remainder of the soup (as shown in photo).
