My mom use to make this dish for our dad who was in the army, because he was givin it to eat when ever the army who send him away. Mom use to call it S.O.S. Then my mom started making it for my brothers David who oined the Navy & my brother James who joined the Marines. In the main pic to this recipe is a pic of 3 of my brothers. The pic of the polit is my fourth brother. This time of the year I wish they were all home. Any one is the Military or married to a Military guy/gal. A mother, father, sister or brother of a MIliary guy or gal you know what S.O.S. means... LOL...

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, fat-free
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 slices bread
How To Make s.o.s

Step 1First in a large saucepan brown the hamburger over nedium heat. Season with a little of the salt & pepper.

Step 2Next mix in the mushroom soup & water. Bring to a boil, taste to see if you need more salt & pepper.

Step 3Then toast the bread before serving. Place 2 slices of toast on the plate them pour a laddle full of the cream of hamburger over the toast.

Step 4Then add all four of my borthers to the table & they will know what it is with a saying a word.
