Ingredients
- 1 pound round steak, cut into serving sized pieces
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 - tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
How To Make round steak smothered in gravy

Step 1Mix flour, salt and pepper in plastic bag.

Step 2Add round steak pieces to flour mixture and shake.

Step 3Brown meat in oil over medium-high heat.

Step 4Remove meat from skillet.

Step 5Add 3 tablespoons flour to pan drippings and stir constantly until flour browns.

Step 6Stirring constantly, slowly add water until gravy thickens.

Step 7Add onions, tomatoes, vinegar and parsley.

Step 8Return meat to pan, cover and simmer 1 hour or until tender.
