While looking through an old cookbook of mine, I ran across this recipe. For some reason it caught my eye and it seems like an interesting way to prepare a roast. I have not made it but wanted to share.

roast (or larger)
1 can(s)
celery soup
1 can(s)
mushroom soup
1 c
7 up
1 pkg
onion soup mix

How to Make ROAST


  • 1Cut roast into bite size pieces.
  • 2Mix roast and other ingredients all together.
  • 3Wrap in foil as tightly as you can and place in roaster and cover.
  • 4Bake at 300 degrees for 3 1/2 hours. Do Not Open while baking. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
