I use to beg my grandmother to make these for me. If I could have, I would have eaten them for every meal. Best of all it is only 4 ingredients and super simple!

Ingredients For rice-a-roni meatballs

  • 1 box
    rice-a-roni, beef flavor
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 2 1/2 c
    water

How To Make rice-a-roni meatballs

  • 1
Mix together the rice-a-roni (save the flavor packet for later), egg and hamburger together with your hands. Don't over mix or they will become tough.
  • 2
Scoop out 1/4 - 1/3 cup of the meat mixture and roll into a ball. Place in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown all sides of the meatball.
  • 3
When all sides are browned (middle will still be a little pink), pour the season packet and 2 1/2 cups of water over everything. Bring to a boil, turn down the heat to low, cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until most of the liquid has been absorbed.
