Ingredients

  • 3.5 pounds chuck roast
  • 1/3 cup bourbon
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 - garlic clove, finely chopped

How To Make rib roast with bourbon marinade

  • Step 1
    Pierce beef with fork several times on both sides.
  • Step 2
    Mix remaining ingredients in shallow glass dish.
  • Step 3
    Place beef in dish; turn to coat with marinade.
  • Step 4
    Cover and refrigerate at least 24 hours, turning beef occasionally.
  • Step 5
    Remove beef from marinade, reserving marinade.
  • Step 6
    Cover and grill beef 4-5\" from medium coals, 30-35 minutes for medium doneness, turning frequently and brushing with marinade.
