  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1 c
    soft rye bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 c
    russian dressing
  • 1/4 c
    sweet pickled relish
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 lb
    chopped beef
  • 8 oz
  • 1 c
    shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper

How to Make Reuben Meatloaf


  1. Combine egg, onion, relish, salad dressing, worcestershire and 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper and ground beef. Mix well.
  2. On wax paper, pat to 12x8 inch rectangle; top with sauerkraut and 3/4 cup swiss cheese.
  3. Roll meat jelly roll style; beginning with short end. Press ends to seal.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake until melted.
