Ingredients

  • FOR MEATBALLS:
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup onion (chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • FOR SAUCE:
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (i use br. sugar splenda)
  • 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)

How To Make recipe of the month "meatballs" for october 2011

  • Step 1
    MEATBALLS: Combine all ingredients, mix well. Shape into balls. Place in baking dish in single layer.
  • Step 2
    SAUCE: Mix all ingredients. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
