1 cunbleached all-purpose flour
·"just a pinch" of salt
·"just a pinch" of pepper
4 Tbspunbleached all-purpose flour
How to Make Ranch Style Chicken Fried Steak and Gravy
- Tenderize round steak.
- Dip in milk and then flour, salt and pepper to taste.
- Fry in deep fat at approximately 375 degrees until golden brown.
- After steak is done, pour off fat leaving about 4 tablespoons in pan.
- Add 4 tablespoons flour.
- Stir until smooth.
- Add 1 quart milk.
- Stir and cook until until thickened for steak gravy.
