How to Make Ranch Style Chicken Fried Steak and Gravy


  • 1Tenderize round steak.
  • 2Dip in milk and then flour, salt and pepper to taste.
  • 3Fry in deep fat at approximately 375 degrees until golden brown.
  • 4After steak is done, pour off fat leaving about 4 tablespoons in pan.
  • 5Add 4 tablespoons flour.
  • 6Stir until smooth.
  • 7Add 1 quart milk.
  • 8Stir and cook until until thickened for steak gravy.
