Ingredients

  • 1 box
    homestyle macaroni and cheese mix
  • 1 can(s)
ro tel tomatoes with green chilis, drained
  • 8 oz
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb
    ground beef, browned
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 10 oz
    nacho cheese chips
  • 1 can(s)
    kernel corn, drained

How to Make Quick Taco Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Start preparing the mac and cheese mix according to directions, omitting the bread crumbs. While macaroni is cooking, brown ground beef and add the taco seasoning. When browned set aside.
  2. When macaroni is done, drain and return to cook pot (I use a large pot, and double it as a mixing bowl). Add your ground beef mixture, the drained tomatoes and corn. Mix well and pour into a 9 X 13 casserole dish.
  3. Top with crushed doritos and shredded cheese. Bake for 20 min in a 400 degree oven.
