Ingredients
- 1/4 pound ground beef
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 - carrot, sliced
- 2 ounces mushrooms, canned
- 2 tablespoons onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons pimento stuffed olives
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- - parmesan cheese, grated

Step 1In saucepan cook ground beef until browned; drain off fat.

Step 2Stir in salt and pepper.

Step 3Add tomato sauce, carrot, mushrooms, onion, sliced olives and sugar.

Step 5Cover; simmer for 30-35 minutes or until carrot is tender, stirring occasionally.
