Ingredients

2 2/3 c
instant mashed potatoes
1 1/2 c
sour cream
1 c
water
1 lb
lean ground beef
3 Tbsp
chopped onion or 1 t. dried minced onion
1 can(s)
(15oz) tomato sauce
1 can(s)
(12oz) mexican corn (undrained)in any veggie aisle
1 tsp
salt
1/4-1/2 tsp
pepper
1/8 tsp
oregano
1/2 c
diced american or chedder cheese.(more if you like)

How to Make Quick Hamgurger and Potato Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a ungreased 9"x13" baking dish,blend potato flakes with sour cream and 1/2 cup of water.
    (mixture should be crumbly) If not add more potato flakes.
  • 2Pat firmly into bottom of pan.
    Brown beef(with onions,if using).
    Add dried onion(if not using fresh),remaining1/2 cup water,tomato sauce,corn,salt,pepper and oregano.
  • 3Spoon beef mixture over potatoes.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake 350 for 25-30 minutes.
