quick & easy philly cheese steaks

This is an easy weeknight meal I make at least twice a month. Serve with a green salad and you've got a meal!

Ingredients

  • 2 - bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 - red onion, chopped
  • 1-2 cup mushroom, sliced
  • 1 pound steak, sliced paper thin (i use sirloin)
  • - garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons a-1 steak sauce
  • 2 tablespoons heinz 57 steak sauce
  • - steak rolls or hoagies
  • - provolone cheese or cheez whiz

How To Make quick & easy philly cheese steaks

  • Step 1
    In a saute pan over medium-high heat, sweat the peppers, onions, and mushrooms.
  • Step 2
    Add steak slices. Season with garlic salt.
  • Step 3
    Add both steak sauces and the worcestershire. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until sauce reduces to the thickness of your liking.
  • Step 4
    Serve on steak rolls with cheese.
  • Step 5
    **NOTE: The peppers and onions make a prettier presentation when they are sliced into strips, but are FAR easier to eat with they are diced.
