This one is so fast & easy, you can use whatever topping ingredients you like the most. My kids love it!

Ingredients

  • 1 can 10 oz. refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 1 - green peppers, diced
  • 1 - small onion, chopped
  • 1 can 2 1/2 oz. sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 - 1 (10 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 package 3 1/2 oz. sliced pepperoni
  • 1 package 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

How To Make quick deep dish pizza

  • Step 1
    Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits. Arrange in a lightly greased, deep dish pizza dish or 9x13 pan; Press biscuits to form crust. Sprinkle parmesan over biscuit dough.
  • Step 2
    Combine ground beef, green pepper and onion and garlic in a skillet; cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Drain well.
  • Step 3
    Add tomato sauce, mushrooms, sugar and herbs; simmer 5 minutes. Spoon mixture over crust; top with pepperoni.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes; Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Yield 6 servings.
