    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c
  • 1
    garlic clove, crushed
  • pinch
  • 1 c
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    hot sauce
  • dash(es)
  • 4
    coney buns

How to Make Quick Coney Islands


  1. Brown beef in skillet.
  2. Add 1/2 cup onion and celery.
  3. Cook until almost tender and drain off fat.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes.
  5. Warm buns in oven.
  6. Heat franks in small amount of water.
  7. Spread mustard on buns.
  8. Place 1 frank in each bun, spoon on hot coney sauce and add remaining onions on top.
