Ingredients
- 1 large can dinty moore beef stew
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 jar savory beef gravy
- 1 can whole-kernel corn
- 16 oz. packages frozen homestyle noodles
How To Make quick beef stew
-
Step 1Empty Dinty Moore Beef Stew into large non-stick kettle.
-
Step 2Add the beef broth and jar of beef gravy. Add about 1/4 cup of water to empty gravy jar, adjust lid tightly, and shake gently to "clean" the gravy from the jar. Empty this into the beef stew mixture.
-
Step 3Bring this to a gentle boil. Add the drained whole-kernel corn and the frozen noodles. Return to a boil and reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes or until noodles are tender.
-
Step 4You may add any additional vegetable of your choice, if you don't like the corn; add canned green beans, peas, carrots, etc., all drained, of course. I have added sliced dehydrated onions, also, and that is very good. Serve this with hot crusty bread and a salad for a complete meal. I do not add any additional salt, but I do like to add course ground pepper.
