Ingredients
- 1-2 pound ground beef
- 1/2-1 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 can mixed vegetables
- 1 can corn kernels
- 1 (28 oz) can tomato puree
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 cups cooked barley (can use instant) -or-
- 2 cups cooked small pasta, such as alphabets, ditalini, etc.

Step 1Crumble ground beef into dutch oven and cook, along with chopped onion, on medium high until ground beef is browned and onion is wilted. Stir in chopped garlic about 1-2 minutes before browning is complete.

Step 2Add remaining ingredients. Stir to mix thouroughly. Raise heat to high, until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 1/2 to 1 hour, adding water if needed. Enjoy!
