I call this Quarantine Goulash because I invented it when I couldn't get to the store. I wanted to see what I could do with the ingredients I had on hand.

Ingredients For quarantine goulash

  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 2 c
    egg noodles, cooked
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped fine or 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 can
    (10 oz.) mild rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies
  • 1 or 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 oz
    water

How To Make quarantine goulash

    In a large deep skillet brown the meat until no longer pink. Add the onion, garlic, and seasonings. Mix well.

    Add noodles to a large pot of boiling water and cook, uncovered, about 10 minutes. Drain.

    Combine the tomatoes & chilies with the meat mixture. Add one can water and cooked noodles. Mix thoroughly.

    Simmer over medium heat until heated through. Serve while hot.
