Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 lb
    ground veal
  • 1/2 lb
    ground pork
  • 2.5 c
    crushed cornflakes
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    sage
  • 1/2 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1.5 c
    mashed potatoes

How to Make Potato Topped Meat Loaf

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine beef, veal, pork and cornflakes.
  2. Beat eggs, add to meat mixture with salt, sage and milk.
  3. Put into greased loaf pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
  4. Unmold; frost with potatoes.
  5. Bake in 350 degree oven until potatoes are browned.
