Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground veal
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 2.5 cups crushed cornflakes
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1.5 cups mashed potatoes

How To Make potato topped meat loaf

  • Step 1
    Combine beef, veal, pork and cornflakes.
  • Step 2
    Beat eggs, add to meat mixture with salt, sage and milk.
  • Step 3
    Put into greased loaf pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
  • Step 4
    Unmold; frost with potatoes.
  • Step 5
    Bake in 350 degree oven until potatoes are browned.
