Found this recipe in a magazine called Best Recipes.It has a whole new taste to lasagna. Instead of marinara sauce I used Prego.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion,chopped
  • 1 large clove garlic,minced
  • 1 jar marinara sauce( 16 oz.)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 6 cups thinly sliced peeled potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese

How To Make potato lasagna

  • Step 1
    In a skillet on medium heat brown beef,drain.Put beef back in skillet,add onions,mushrooms and garlic until onions are tender and mushrooms are golden.Add sauce and parsley; heat on medium low stirring occasionally.
  • Step 2
    In a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish,arrange half the potato slices.Top 3 cups of beef mixture,add remaining potatoes and sauce.
  • Step 3
    Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.Uncover ,top with cheese bake 5 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Serve with a salad.
