Ingredients

  • 5 lb
    rump roast
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 pkg
    cooking oil
  • 2
    cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 2
    corrots sliced
  • 1
    onion
  • 15 oz
    tomato puree
  • 1/2 c
    red wine
  • 1/2 tsp
    beef bouillon
  • ·
    egg noodles

How to Make POT ROAST WITH NOODLES ( ITAILIAN STYLE )

Step-by-Step

  1. Rub roast with salt.
  2. In a dutch oven, brown roast in oil.
  3. Add all ingredients except noodles.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender.
  6. Discard onion.
  7. Remove roast.
  8. Cut into slices.
  9. Serve over cooked noodles with gravy.
  10. Cook noodles just before serving.
