Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 14.5 ounces tomatoes, canned whole, drained and cut up
- 2 cups rice, instant
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 large green bell peppers
How To Make porcupine peppers

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Lightly coat a 9 x 9-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray, or use an uncoated, non-stick metal baking dish.

Step 3In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, diced tomatoes, rice, paprika, celery salt and worcestershire sauce.

Step 4Mix with a large spoon until well blended; set aside.

Step 5Cut peppers from top to bottom, into 4 or 5 large strips.

Step 6Place half of the peppers on the bottom of the baking dish.

Step 7Spoon half of the meat mixture, spreading evenly, over peppers.

Step 8Repeat with remaining peppers and meat mixture.

Step 9Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
