Yum...delicious saucy meatballs...make sure you have a nice crusty loaf of bread to sop up those juices... I usually double the sauce, as its so good!!! My photos

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup long grain rice, uncooked
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 large can tomato sauce ( 15 - 20 ounces )
- 1 cup water
- 2 - 2 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
How To Make porcupine meatballs in tomato sauce

Step 1In a bowl, combine the rice, water, onion, garlic, seasonings and ground beef. Shape into 1-inch balls.

Step 2In a large skillet, brown meatballs in oil; Drain.

Step 3Combine last four ingredients and pour over meatballs.

Step 4Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45-60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5Serve over rice, noodles, or with a side salad. I have used these to make toasted hoagies also...so yummy!............Enjoy!!!
