I found this recipe in a "Mom's Best Meals" Taste of Home collection. It was Darlis Wilfer's mom's recipe from Phelps, Wisconsin. It's good with mashed potatoes and a vegetable.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 8-oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
How To Make porcupine meatballs

Step 1In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Crumble the beef over the top and mix well.

Step 2Shape into 1-1/2 inch balls.

Step 3In a large skillet, cook the meat in oil over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain.

Step 4Combine tomato sauce, water, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce; pour over meatballs. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for one hour.
