popper burgers

I make these slider size and usually on the grill. I made about 20 of them at a backyard cookout and they got gobbled up in no time! You can tweek it how ya like, ingrediants are approximate as i never measure anything when i cook!

Ingredients
- 4 pounds lean ground chuck
- 8-10 - fresh jalapenos
- 2-3 - sweet red peppers
- 1 box light cream cheese
- 1 - small onion, finely chopped
- - shakes of garlic powder
- - handful of cilantro,chopped
- - shake of cumin,salt and pepper
- - olive oil for coating
- - cheddar cheese slices
- - slider size buns
How To Make popper burgers

Step 1Mix burger with salt,pepper, and worcestershire. Form into small slider size patties and coat with olive oil. While they are on the grill saute the jalapenos and red pepper in evoo and s&p. Cover and keep warm.

Step 2Combine the softend cream cheese,onion,garlic powder,cilantro,cumin, and s&p. After flipping the burgers top with the cream cheese mixture and a slice of cheddar till just melted.

Step 3Place them on the slider buns and top with the sauted peppers. (I even toast the buns for a minute) Yummy! Serve with whatever side you like
