Ingredients
- BEEF PATTIES:
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 cups finely crushed soda crackers
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- - salt and pepper to taste
- GRAVY:
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 can water

Step 1Mix all the ingredient together. Then press into a large flat pan. Cover pan with foil or plastic wrap. Let this set overnight in the refrigerator.

Step 2Preheat oven to 325 degrees. When ready to bake cut in squares, dip each piece in flour and brown in a skillet with a little oil in it. Then put the browned pieces in a casserole.

Step 3Make gravy by combining 1 can cream of mushroom soup mixed with 1 can water. Pour gravy mixture over meat pieces and bake slowly (325 degrees) for 2 hours or until meat is done.

Step 4Grandma always served these with mashed potatoes and hot fresh yeast rolls.
