pj's chili

I love chili. Created this for the Super Bowl. Added just a bit of jalapeno to give it a little kick. I like the "wow" factor but not enough to knock me to the floor, if you know what I mean. I think beans make the chili so I don't cheat on them. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and watch the game.

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 - onion halved and quartered
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 teaspoon creole seasoning
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 - jalapeno pepper, canned
- 1 can tomatoes, diced with green chilies
- 1 can tomato sauce, 15 oz.
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 can chili beans, do not drain
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 can black beans, drained

Step 1Brown hamburger with onions, then drain. Add all seasonings, jalapeno,diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Simmer uncovered on low for about 1 hour. Add all the beans and simmer for another hour. (I remove the pepper before serving for fear I'LL be the one to find it!)
