I love chili. Created this for the Super Bowl. Added just a bit of jalapeno to give it a little kick. I like the "wow" factor but not enough to knock me to the floor, if you know what I mean. I think beans make the chili so I don't cheat on them. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and watch the game.

onion halved and quartered
2 tsp
garlic powder
2 Tbsp
chili powder
1 tsp
1 tsp
oregano, dried
1 tsp
creole seasoning
1 Tbsp
cocoa powder
jalapeno pepper, canned
1 can(s)
tomatoes, diced with green chilies
1 can(s)
tomato sauce, 15 oz.
1 1/2 c
1 can(s)
chili beans, do not drain
1 can(s)
kidney beans, drained
1 can(s)
black beans, drained

How to Make PJ's Chili


  • 1Brown hamburger with onions, then drain. Add all seasonings, jalapeno,diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Simmer uncovered on low for about 1 hour. Add all the beans and simmer for another hour. (I remove the pepper before serving for fear I'LL be the one to find it!)
