Ingredients

2 lb
ground beef
2 c
italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 c
milk
1/4 c
dried minced onion
2 tsp
garlic salt
1/4 tsp
ground white pepper
8 oz
mozzarella cheese block, cut into 48 cubes
1/3 c
flour
1/4 c
oil
your favorite pizza or spaghetti sauce

How to Make Pizza Meatballs

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a bowl, combine first six ingredients until just mixed. Do not overmix or the meatballs will be tough.
  • 2Shape into 48 meatballs. Push a cube of mozzarella cheese into the center of each meatball, covering the cheese completely with meat.
  • 3Roll meatballs lightly in flour. In a large skillet, cook the meatballs in hot oil until browned. Drain.
  • 4Add sauce to skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25 to 35 minutes, or until meatballs are no longer pink.
