We like these best when served as a meatball sub. The surprise inside is a great burst of flavor that everyone enjoys! Will post a picture soon. So many things to cook!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup dried minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese block, cut into 48 cubes
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • - your favorite pizza or spaghetti sauce

How To Make pizza meatballs

  • Step 1
    In a bowl, combine first six ingredients until just mixed. Do not overmix or the meatballs will be tough.
  • Step 2
    Shape into 48 meatballs. Push a cube of mozzarella cheese into the center of each meatball, covering the cheese completely with meat.
  • Step 3
    Roll meatballs lightly in flour. In a large skillet, cook the meatballs in hot oil until browned. Drain.
  • Step 4
    Add sauce to skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25 to 35 minutes, or until meatballs are no longer pink.
