Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 3 Tbsp
    italian dressing
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 15 oz
    pineapple slices in juice
  • 8 slice
    bacon
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice

How to Make Pineapple Burgers

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix ground beef and Italian dressing, salt and pepper.
  2. Shape into 8 patties.
  3. Press a pineapple slice into each pattie.
  4. Wrap with a slice of bacon and secure with wooden toothpick.
  5. Mix remaining ingredients.
  6. Place patties in glass 13 x 9 dish.
  7. Pour barbecue sauce mix on patties.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  9. Grill patties, pineapple side down, about 10 minutes.
  10. Turn, brush with sauce.
  11. Grill another 10 minutes.
  12. Heat remaining sauce to serve with burgers.
