this sounded so odd when I saw it years ago in a mag. I had to try it, great for Potluck dinners and a crockpot dinner after a long day, serve with chips and potato salad and you have a meal, and don't worry, the pickle is a very light flavor in the backround, although you wont think so while your making it

Ingredients
- 4-5 pounds boneless chuck roast
- 36 ounces large jar dill pickles, whole
- 1/2 cup chile sauce
- - buns for serving
How To Make pickle beef

Step 1brown chuck roast on all sides

Step 2place in crockpot

Step 3add whole pickles with juice, also chile sauce

Step 4cover and turn to high for 5-6 hours or turn to low for 7-8 hours

Step 5remove lid, discard pickles, remove meat to platter, with 2 forks, shred meat, return to crockpot and let simmer in juice for about 15 minutes

Step 6to serve, use slotted spoon, place meat on buns and serve
