Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger must be 80/20 or better (can also use ground turkey)
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper (bell pepper)
- 2 pinches oregano, dried
- 1 - whole bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 - medium spanish onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup green sliced olives
- 1 - medium tomato (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon powered garlic or 2 cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon oiive oil
- - salt to taste
- - black beans to top your picadillo
- 1 can black beans
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 - sliced green pepper
- 1/2 - spanish onion sliced (like onion rings look)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
How To Make picadillo

Step 1Dice up onion, green pepper,and tomato's put in pan with 1 Tablespoon olive oil. when tender, add oregano,cumin tomato sauce bay leaf and stir well.

Step 2Put heat on high and add hamburger as meat browns add raisins,olives,and cook until meat is done,(DO NOT STOP STIRRING)

Step 3When meat is cooked add vineger. I serve mine with white rice and black beans.
