Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 - green pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, mined; or to taste
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 2 tablespoons green olives
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup white cooking wine
- 1 - bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- - salt and pepper taste
- - water to cover
How To Make picadillo

Step 1cook peppers in olive oil for 2 min then add the onions and garlic and cook for 2-3 min.

Step 2add ground beef and add garlic powder and and cumin, salt and pepper and olives and brown the meat

Step 3once browned add the tomato paste, white wine, potatoes and water to cover then bring to a boil; then bring to a simmer and partially cover; cook for 30 min or until potatoes are soft and water is gone

Step 4serve with white rice (optional)
