Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 medium
    onion chpped
  • 1 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 medium
    green pepper choped
  • 1 large
    carrots, chopped
  • 2 large
    potatoes small diced
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 can(s)
    black olives
  • 1 pkg
    yellow corn
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil

How to Make PICADILLO

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large skillet brown your ground beef untill lightly borwn. Drain and add oragano, set aside.
  2. In another skillet, add your oil and chopped carrots, grren peppers and potatoes, because they take longer to cook. Once they are almost tender add the onion, saute until transparent about 3 minutes on meduim heat,then add your garlic for about 1 minute.
  3. Add the vegatable mixture to the ground beef and cook until beef is fully cooked. Finishing the beef with the vegatable add more favor to them..For about another 5 min.
  4. Add the thawed corn to mixture and heat through. At the last min add the black olives so that the keep there tart favor and keep them firm.
  5. Great with corn tortilla
