Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 4 small
    diced red potatoes
  • 1/2 medium
    diced onion
  • 1/4 c
    diced green pepper
  • 1 can(s)
    diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1 can(s)
    diced tomatoes drained
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    cayenne pepper optional
  • ·
    flour tortillas
  • ·
    cheddar cheese

How to Make Picadillo

Step-by-Step

  1. Crumble and fry ground beef with potatoes, onions and green peppers. When beef is no longer pink drain off fat.
  2. Add meat mixture back to pan and add next 7 ingredients. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  3. Place meat in flour tortilla add cheese roll up and enjoy. We also will add sour cream or avocados. What ever you like!
