1 1/2 lb
ground beef
4 small
diced red potatoes
1/2 medium
diced onion
1/4 c
diced green pepper
1 can(s)
diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 can(s)
diced tomatoes drained
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
black pepper
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
2 Tbsp
chili powder
1/8 tsp
cayenne pepper optional
flour tortillas
cheddar cheese

How to Make Picadillo

Step-by-Step

  • 1Crumble and fry ground beef with potatoes, onions and green peppers. When beef is no longer pink drain off fat.
  • 2Add meat mixture back to pan and add next 7 ingredients. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  • 3Place meat in flour tortilla add cheese roll up and enjoy. We also will add sour cream or avocados. What ever you like!
