Fast and leftovers are so good. I even make extra and freeze it, so my husband can just warm it up.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 4 small diced red potatoes
  • 1/2 medium diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 can diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1 can diced tomatoes drained
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • - flour tortillas
  • - cheddar cheese

How To Make picadillo

  • Step 1
    Crumble and fry ground beef with potatoes, onions and green peppers. When beef is no longer pink drain off fat.
  • Step 2
    Add meat mixture back to pan and add next 7 ingredients. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Place meat in flour tortilla add cheese roll up and enjoy. We also will add sour cream or avocados. What ever you like!
