Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 8 ounces deli roast beef, shaved
- 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 - loaf frozen white bread dough, thawed
- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 8 ounces assorted shredded cheese (mozzarella, parmesan, romano, etc), or more to taste
How To Make philly style white pizza
-
Step 1Saute onion, green pepper and mushrooms in one tablespoon of olive oil until limp. Add roast beef (I sliced into shreds) and saute for about three minutes more. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and pepper and saute two to three minutes more. Remove from heat and set aside.
-
Step 2Dust work surface with flour and roll out bread dough to fit a 10 x 15 cookie sheet. Fit dough into pan and build up edges to form a crust. Brush dough with remaining two tablespoons of olive oil. Spread crushed garlic across entire surface of dough. Top with a light layer of shredded cheese then add meat/vegetable mixture, distributing evenly.
-
Step 3Top with remaining cheese and sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan, if desired.
-
Step 4Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted and gooey.
-
Step 5Let sit five minutes before cutting and serving.
