- 1 pound ground beed
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 medium green pepper diced
- 8 ounces mushrooms small dice
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2/3 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 8 ounces provolone cheese slices

How To Make philly cheese steak sloppy joes

Step 1Brown the ground beef and ground pork in a large skillet. drain and set aside. Add the onion, green pepper, mushrooms and garlic to the same pan. Cook until veggies are browned and softened and the mushrooms have given up there moisture. Add the salt and pepper. Add the meat back to the pan. Mix the beef broth with the cornstarch. Add to the pan and bring to a boil. Stir in the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from heat

Step 2Top with the provolone cheese and cover until the cheese is melted. Serve on buns.
