Ingredients
- 2 cups white bread crust removed cut into cubes
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 medium green pepper diced
- 8 ounces mushroom minced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- - salt and pepper
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 16 ounces sliced provolone cheese
How To Make philly cheese steak meatloaf

Step 1Mix the white bread and buttermilk together and set aside. Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the onion, garlic, green pepper, and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until softened and mushrooms have gave up their moisture. Let cool

Step 2Mix the buttermilk bread mixture together with your hands making sure all the bread is broken up and moist. Place the ground beef in a large bowl. Add the buttermilk bread mixture, ketchup, Worcestershire, eggs, Panko and onion green pepper mixture. Mix well with hands until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Step 3Spray a 9X15 pan with cooking spray. Preheat oven 375 degrees. Place half of the meatloaf mixture in bottom of pan. Layer half the Provolone cheese on top. Top with remaining meat mixture. Bake for 40 minutes. Add the remaining Provolone cheese and bake until cheese is melted and bubbly.
