Blue Ribbon Recipe
This is a well-named pot roast recipe. It's just the perfect pot roast. Searing the roast before placing in the Crock Pot keeps in the juices and makes the meat more tender. Beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, and onion soup mix, when roasted with the meat, create a really delicious gravy. It's a wonderful and easy slow cooker dinner.
Note: If you love onion flavor and a little extra seasoning, use the entire package of onion soup mix.
