This is a nice all-in-one meal that uses the microwave to help get it on the table quickly. If you can't find garlic pepper, use 1 1/2 teaspoon each garlic powder and pepper.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced 1/4" thick
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 pound sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 - bell pepper, cut into thin strips

How To Make pepper steak and potatoes

  • Step 1
    Put potatoes and water in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  • Step 2
    Microwave on HIGH 6-10 minutes or until tender.
  • Step 3
    While potatoes are cooking toss beef with garlic and heat oil in skillet over high heat.
  • Step 4
    Add beef to skillet and cook, tossing, for 3 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Remove beef.
  • Step 6
    Add green pepper to skillet; toss 3 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Add potatoes; sauté 5 minutes or until browned.
  • Step 8
    Add beef; toss until heated through.
  • Step 9
    Season with salt as needed.
