1 lb. boneless beef sirloin tip, cut in 1/4" thick slices
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. oil
1 cup hot water
1 t. instant beef bouillon granules
1 medium green pepper
1 can tomatoes (16 oz)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. soy sauce
hot cooked noodles

How to Make Pepper Steak


  • 1Cook meat, onion and garlic until meat is browned in hot oil. Sprinkle with 1/2 t. salt and dash pepper.
  • 2Add hot water and bouillon, cover, simmer until meat is almost tender, 30 to 35 minutes
  • 3Slice green pepper into rings. Add green pepper and tomatoes to meat. Cook 10 minutes.
  • 4Blend cornstarch, soy and 1/4 cup cold water. Stir into meat mixture. Cook and stir until thick. Serve over noodles.
