Ingredients

  • 3.5 lb
    ground beef
  • 2
    onions, chopped
  • 1
    celery stalk, chopped
  • 1
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 3 tsp
    salad mustard
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • ·
    pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp
    sweet relish
  • 26 oz
    tomato soup

How to Make Pat's Sloppy Joe Recipe

Step-by-Step

  1. Saute vegetables, then add ground beef.
  2. Drain any fat off of meat after browned.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Simmer after it comes to a boil.
  5. Cook on very low for about 3 hours or until it is the consistency you wish for.
  6. You could also crock pot it after putting it all together.
  7. You can add some hot seasoning if you'd like, to give it a little 'bite' but it's great, just the way it is.
