I got this out of my power bill, they have a POWER RECIPE each month. This one is by T. Morton of Attalla Al. It is so good, great with some bread sticks

Ingredients For pasta e fagioli

  • 1 box
    hamburger helper, italian shells & cheese
  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground round or ground beef
  • 1 sm
    onion , diced
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes w/ basil, garlic, & oregano
  • 1 can
    great northern beans
  • 4 c
    water

How To Make pasta e fagioli

  • 1
    Brown meat and onions in large pot. Drain when done and return back to pot. Add, water, shells, season packet( from hamburger helper),tomatoes and beans.

    Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and cook until shells are tender and sauce thickens.If you want the sauce thinner just add more water
