I got this out of my power bill, they have a POWER RECIPE each month. This one is by T. Morton of Attalla Al. It is so good, great with some bread sticks

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

hamburger helper, italian shells & cheese
1 1/2 lb
ground round or ground beef
1 small
onion , diced
1 can(s)
diced tomatoes w/ basil, garlic, & oregano
1 can(s)
great northern beans
4 c
water

How to Make Pasta e Fagioli

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown meat and onions in large pot. Drain when done and return back to pot. Add, water, shells, season packet( from hamburger helper),tomatoes and beans.
  • 2Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and cook until shells are tender and sauce thickens.If you want the sauce thinner just add more water
